bought a Pair of 9x7 Ovals and a matching 11x9 Oval in SD color and the set was more Blue than purple and looked more like sapphire which I already have.I called customer service and not only did they address it in a professional way they sent me another set which was more purple and exactly the same I needed. Prices are excellent
I have a wonderful jewelery collection, and am very picky about my stones. I saw a ring that I liked on-line, but figured that the tanzanite would not be the quality I wanted. In my "wandering of the internet" in search of "the perfect tanzanite", I found Top Tanzanite. I spoke with sales desk, sent them the picture of the ring I liked, and he said I could come to there office to pick my stone and that they would get the same setting for me.
Meanwhile, I went on a cruise to the Bahamas....and saw the exact "dream ring" in one of brand at (of course after the bargaining) a reasonable price.
When I got back home in NYC I went over to the Top Tanzanite office. They showed me there stones in the size and various grades that I was interested in. Although they were all beautiful, one of the 1.85 SD stones just popped out at me. The final price for the ring was agreed on and I was very happy with it.
Two weeks later the ring was ready. Compared to the ring I saw at Bahamas.....the center stone is about 1/2 carat (At Bahamas it was 1.35) larger and the setting is identical. As to the quality of the Tanzanite, Brand there was very good, but this one is perfect. (Not being a jeweler, I'm just giving you my "eyeball" opinion of the clarity & depth of color.) The color is just what I wanted and the setting makes it look absolutely amazing. The brand there wanted a lot more for "a lot less" of ring.
I know most people won't travel to NYC just to hand pick a tanzanite....but I can tell you that Top Tanzanite has them in all the sizes and grades and that the prices are excellent.
